About TZIFF

The Tarzana International Film Festival (TZIFF) is located in the heart of the Historic San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, centrally located to  Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, Paramount, Netflix and other major motion picture studios

Our Mission is to provide a platform for filmmakers to express their creativity, to have their  voices heard and their  stories told. We champion independent filmmaking from around the world, to entertain, influence and inspire others with your work.  To share inclusive and diverse points of view and educate and  connect with other like-minded artists. Our goal is to help make your dreams come true by showcasing your work on the big screen for audiences to experience and enjoy while helping to pave a pathway to success in Hollywood.

TZIFF screens the best independent films that inform, inspire, and engage our audiences. Festival categories include action/adventure, documentaries, science fiction, fantasy & horror, LGBTQ+, films by women,  faith-based films, animation  and many other categories. Our multimedia celebration is designed to elevate and amplify filmmakers, encourage new friendships and future collaborations, and showcase the best work from around the globe. From its submission process, through the festival, films are reviewed by industry professionals and selected to be part of the live festival experience, to enjoy the screenings,  red carpet events, parties and ending with the semi-formal Closing Night Awards Gala.
